Poem -

If I were in love

Revised

If I were in love
It would be with the trees.

Trees have the nature

To shed all their leaves.

If I were in love

It would be with the clouds.

Clouds are so loud

When rain pours itself down.

If I were to swing from a push

Out far enough

On the play ground of life,

I would finish up hardly

Starved of the light.

And if this love could catch

People mightn't be frightened

So much of the night.

What ever we love, is indeed the very reason that we should be in love with it🌹 trees are good. I quite love the palm tree and the baobab personally 🌹

Before pen and paper
I would think, a birch, or an elm?
As you would know, all
Plath trees, from Ariel.
Well, I don't know anything
About these trees.
Keep it simple Rory,
So, just became tree.

Rory I particularly like this one from you. It's quite dream like in quality and beautifully written with the short verses and rhyming x

Some ones of mine get too
Complicated, no? Too abstract.
