If only, If only, two simple words
with power to send out ideas in a surge.
If only we were equal.
If only there were peace.
If only I wasn't lonely.
If only hate would cease.
The "if only's" of life are limiting.
No one tries to act, to try and change things.
The answer to solve our "if only" problem
Is to flip the words, take issues, and solve them.
Only if we work together will equality stand.
Only if we are kinder will no wars be planned.
Only if we reach out will we not be lonely.
Only if there is love will hate die out slowly.
Imagine, that's a start. But what's next is to do.
Everyone is accountable, even them, even you.
