If the Rain Comes

If the Rain Comes

If the Rain Comes
Will you still
Know My
Name?

If the Rain Comes
will your words
be an Umbrella
to cover my pain?
Will You Be there
If the Rain Comes?

Sharing the Sun
is easy
Everyone wants
to be around
to have a brighten
Day
Yet when the clouds
begin to cover the positive energy
and thunder rumbles
to warn you
what is about
to come
Will you be there
If the rain
comes
to help me
fight through
the misery?

Find Solace in Knowing
I will be your Rain man
in times of trouble
as we  all need
someone
to help us
stand on
solid ground
and persevere
If The Rain Comes..................

Greg, oh so true sometimes when the rain comes you find out who your true friends are. I relate.
