Your Ink serves
as a temptress
to my mind
Allowing me
to visualize
the passion
you feel with
every word
you write

Often
when reading
your versification
I feel a little
guilt
of the pleasure
I feel

Almost as
if succumbing
to the read
is like
crossing over
into an extra marital affair

Yet I know
we are lovers
for only
on a page
As our allegiance
is finalized
at the end
of the
verse
