Hi Greg oh my goodness this really hit a reality spot with me...my experience was much the same -thankfully I had one really great educator who broke all the accepted rules and taught with passion and knowledge treating his pupils as human beings and not 'things to be fed with information' Because of him I approached Uni with a very different attitude and learned to love the acquisition of new information- great piece of work!

I went through a lot in grade school. This is a hurt that continues with me. I did very well in University but grade school was a nightmare.
I've been a non-conformist my entire life, Greg, and I see no reason to stop now.
My poetry topics are often shunned and ridiculed. My belief systems are often questioned and scrutinized.
A lot of that I can attribute to the wonderful teachers I had in school and many professors in college that liked to push the limits and test the "norm."
But you know what; I wouldn't have it any other way.
Excellent writing as always, sir.

Dean thank you. I had some great Professors that help me think outside the box. Grade School sucked though
