If You Knew My Name

You Will Say In Tears

If You Knew My Name

My name is Wahsa'ka'poon'jyaat
'The one who comes from afar'
I am not here to listen to compliments
I am here to be rid of sins
Lend your ear to my arrival
I make a loud and extravagant entrance
I do so engage the higher realm

I was born into a sanctity
My nature was of prudence
My Ghmorraa was validated
By my act of vengeance

My tribe is Ojibwe
Don't try to scare me
I will only give you nightmares
But, if you desire,
I will give you fantasies
You cannot have both
I dance to live
I live to dance
If given the chance....
I can dance for the world

So, know and learn my name
And I will dance for you...
