Ignored Opinions

I told my cousin that her fiance was going to roam and I didn't mean Italy.
But just like everybody else that I know, she decided not to listen to me.
Three months after they married, he cheated and a woman was impregnated.
If my cousin had listened to me from the start, she wouldn't be devastated.
I've given good advice to people that they wouldn't take.
If they had listened, they wouldn't have made their mistakes.
When I give my opinion, it's something that people ignore.
Then they soon regret that they didn't listen to me before.
It's hard to feel pity for these people who ignore my advice.
They think my opinions are worthless and they end up paying the price.
