Poem -

I'll HOLD YOUR HAND

I'm growing old
My body is weary
I don't want to leave you
I still see you quite clearly

Please hold my hand

Are you still there
My time is drawing near
My vision is blurry
I can barely hear

Please hold my hand

I can no longer see you
The lights have all gone out
Oh my darling I love you
My time has run out

Please hold my hand

I see you quite clearly
Bent over my bed
Tears run down you cheeks
That you have shed

I know your heart is breaking
Please dry your eyes and see
I haven't gone far
Reach up to me

And I'll hold your hand
