Poem -

I'll let go

Though it's never mattered what I intended
My goal was to be something more than I conspired

Our failure is no longer mine

My failure is believing I could change a path

There were never forks in the road
Though we chose the path less traveled by

But there has always been a split in us

A chasm I would tear myself to hold

Yet my strength wains despite my brawn

I wish I could bridge the gap

Instead I stare at a plunge I no longer fear

I won't let go

But I know I'll still fall
