Illusion of freedom

Illusion of freedom

Complaints are made left and right
Debates are heard scream to scream
All desperately clinging

Pointless arguments are heard
Pointless points are stood upon
All desperately clinching

Squirming to grasp their freedom
Squirming to grasp an illusion
If only they could snap out
If only they could realize

They’re not surrounded by sand
And yet they see a mirage
Desperate to taste an illusion
When will we realize
That it’s all just make belief

Intriguing write Yohann. I'm not quite sure if this work is saying we are trapped in life or in the bigger picture but enjoyed the read x
