Illusion Shatters Inhibition

I’ve kneeled at your footstool, afraid to pray. And my trestle
Inscribed with symbols. For rhapsody tortures reality, unto
Turquoise skies. Thus silken dreams, promise eternity. But
Hope, a flagrant illusion, unto fragrant signs. And destiny, a
Vivid delusion, shrouded in passion. Wherefore blood, drips
Upon parchment, despite reality. And the soul, a flaming
Fountain, courting invisibility.  I’m dearly a fantast, lost in
Sensual streams. Thus a star caressed in visions. But such
Splendor, shadowed in thorns, the hope of illusion. Whereby
Symbol, the ache of music, a stranger’s affection. And
Concrete, a melting storm, as fluid as matrimony. Wherefore
The caves, ripe for excavation, screaming “mercy.” And such
Vibes, shelter spirit, unto psychic love. Thus motion, compels
The soul, shattering inhibition. But my dreams: vapor and flames!
