Illusions of the mind

 Faltering thoughts disrupting my reality
 Struggling to distinguish true existence  from illusion
 Deception within myself consuming all things

 My mind constantly interchanging
 Expression of myself often misinterpreted
 Wishing I could untangle distorted thoughts

 Everyday a perpetual battle
 Conflict never ceasing even a moment
 Never knowing quite where I belong

 If only my mind functioned as it should
 Conditions of my contorted thoughts would cease
 Perception of myself would become accepted

 My life  would no longer be an illusion within myself
 Free to express myself without sensing judgment
 Life being what it is meant to be
