I'm almost famous but not quite yet 
Waiting to be discovered I'm almost set 
People like my work and admire my style 
The applause I will receive makes it all worthwhile 

For I am a poet a man of words and verses 
I just need to keep away from bad luck and curses
I will be a household name so very soon 
When I'm there I will jump over the moon
