You come to my resting place and tell me about your living days,
You tell me each time, that you miss me, when your heart breaks,
My tears fill the sky for you, so when it rains, know that I'm around,
When a rainbow bounces off the ground, know that I'm always proud.

You come and sit, tend to my flowers,

I remember you telling me about how you met dad, and how your life changed,
I remember the feeling you told me about, and how I wished for the same,
When I visit my dad at the care home, I cry because he doesn't know my name,
Before he started to lose his mind, he wished to be with you, in the same grave.

It's been some years for you, he took you too early, I miss you so much, I miss my mam,
My daughter is at school now, can you remember the visits when she was in a pram?
Time just goes too quick, but when you left this world, something suddenly stopped,
Me, I hid myself away, I cried myself to sleep, I even wished that I was buried in the same plot.
