I'M NOT SMART BUT...

I'm not smart but don't ever profess to be
However I know that animals should roam free
Not be killed for the sake of wealth or greed 
Nor served as a delicacy for a rich man's feed

I'm not smart but hate the thought of war 
As the song rightly says what is it good for 
Innocent people killed if not scarred for life 
They are somebody's husband,child or wife 

I'm not smart but are we destroying our planet ?
Man is so selfish at times and is hard as granite 
Doesn't cost anymore to be just polite and kind
Should be at the forefront of everyone's mind 

I'm not smart but let's all cherish each lovely day
Don't let war or animal killing get in the way 
Be nice to one another is the best way to go 
Our world will be a better place for this I know
