I'M NOT YOUR VICTIM.

I'm not your victim,
Even though I have felt pain by violent men in the past.
I am not your victim,
Choosing silence or gaslighting,
Instead of leaving a bruise or a mark.
I am not your victim,
Because of the many rejections,
Related to my dark skin tone or economical class.
I am not your victim,
As I will always speak from the heart.
I am not your victim,
Just because my dyslexia means sometimes I have to repeat an exam or spend more time in class.
I am not your victim,
Because my Lupus sometimes means I'm too sick to take part.
I am not your victim,
Because I won't surgically or cosmetically modify or sexualise my body parts.
To fit into a mould that social media and society demands.
I am not a victim,
Been blinded by reality,
That I ignore the brutality,
If you don't adopt the mask of denial worn by those who are chosen to speak on my behalf.
I am not your victim,
Regaining control of my life.
Yes I will wear positivity proudly, Even thou I know negativity is part of growing and learning,
So I experience it daily knowing to balance myself,
Basking In harmonious light.
Thankful for life and all that I have,
Taking nothing for granted,
Living in the present in the here and effervescent now.
The kiss of romantic bliss,
For every divine partner,
I am privileged to meet.
The gift of family, freinds and people who make me laugh and know the power of unconditional love.
I'm not rich in money,
Yet I am rich in love.
The beauty of kindness and giving is underrated,
In such a status driven world like ours.
Self love and empowerment sold by those who are still discovering their own paths.
You can't empower someone wearing a false mask,
Truth is the empowerment,
But with so many minds corrupted with history been distorted.
Many using visual images with  words later found untrue and proven.
To be the creation of mortals who thought they were greater than the god who made them.
it's simple to take it back to basics,
All created equal,
All better than none.
Individually we are all special,
and all have within the power of self love.
The power to be great,
In whatever fills our soul's and heart.
Inspire yourself to take on whatever challenges and release burdens that obstruct your path.
Shine bright in your glory,
Because you own who you are.
Your success is not determined by those who stand on the outside, appointed to say that you are.
But by your consistent effort and coming from within,
Not to give up on been happy,
In the skin that your in.
Doing what you love,
Acceptance and alignment with your spiritual counterpart.
I am one with the earth and universe,
So I could never be a victim,
Because the power within,
will always be a prism,
The many reflections to counter attack any misgivings.
Strength to be found whenever it's needed.
With faith and belief,
Connected to source,
I am one with nature and beyond.
