Poem -
I'm still me
Look in the mirror,what do you see?
We're no different you're the same as me
I have an illness which makes me feel sad
I'm not nuts or crazy,loopy or mad.
Horrible scars adorn each arm
From months of deep intense self harm
As each cut gets deeper the blood starts to pour
There isn't enough i need to see more.
I have an illness inside my head
It makes me feel sad and wish i was dead
I wish i could explain so you'd understand
How a panic attack gets out of hand.
It takes over your mind and makes you feel sick
It doesn't mean you're stupid or thick
I have an illness you just can't see
But look in the mirror,you're the same as me.

Alot of love sent your way from this side of the mirror... I struggle with mental illness too and we all have in one way or another. Everyone is different but we all have the same emotional stress when we're going through a bad time in life. I hope you can be happier with your life. Take care of yourself love yourself and forgive yourself... Take your time and things will get better. I have faith in you!
