Words

A word is so mighty it can mean so much

Words can mean more than a kiss or a touch

Words can describe what's in your mind

They can be very cruel or they can be kind.

A word can describe somebody's life

Be it a husband,son,daughter or wife

You can put your life down in a book

When you want to remember you just take a look.

Looking at paper it can be so bland

The power of thought rests in your hand

Sometimes you're blank and just don't know

If the words will stop or if they'll flow.

Putting down on paper how you feel

Can make an emotion or thought seem so real

So when you're sitting alone at home

Open your mind and write down a poem.
