I'M YOUR FAVOURITE CHAIR

 I'M YOUR FAVOURITE CHAIR

All kinds of bottoms have sat on meĀ
Being on my own or as part of a setteeĀ
I can also be part of a dining room tableĀ
I have even been dozed upon by Auntie Mabel
Who am I ?
I'm your favourite chair

Van Gogh painted me once in a work of artĀ
When I'm old and used I finish up in a dustcartĀ
People buy me in charity shops or a furniture storeĀ
I am ready to receive your bottom once moreĀ
Who am I ?
I'm your favourite chairĀ

The thing I like most by being your favourite chairĀ
I am like a comfort blanket I am always thereĀ
