IMBUE THE SKELETON

IMBUE THE SKELETON

IMBUE THE SKELETON
Ricardo Antonio Garcia

Imbue the skeleton
of man with sarcasm
and the withering snake will choke
on its own skin.
We all shed for the sake of Wisdom
and the knowledge
that our walk has been administered
not by the jokers
of a spiteful society.
These spiteful eyes
look for the fragilities, and
corrupt their values
for the sake of entertainment
bloating their egoistical sights
on the remnants
of suffrages and the like.

Imbue the skeleton
with spiritual awareness
and the franchise of being evasive
is acceptable, for
tying skins is their goal
showing the lot of the hunt
is no different
than a deer hunter gaming for meat.
Become unveiled
for these predators are such
never giving to society a touch
that will imbue healing.
Arrogance attracts arrogance
without courage to advance true esteem
without the muck of wit.
I shan't challenge these aggression's.

Imbue the skeleton
with the divinity of love
and all jealous streams will dry
for in their counterparts
satanic withering will ensue
and forever burn.
For people to become people
respectful ties are binding words
without the laughter of kayos
or the amusements of comedy, for
how does a man laugh
at the joke of his own existence?
Shall we judge the midnight hour?
as our containment or our righteous benefactor?

What keeps your skeleton upright … I ask?
