With this small, elegantly and exquisitely crafted work; so heartfelt in its sincerity and in its sentiment: you join Beethoven in the heights of artistic expression. Both immortalising a beloved. Ludwig's remains shrouded in mystery and speculation. Your beloved's name is sung out, loud and clear, in so many of your songs.
I am but a humble man, and to be compared to Beethoven is beyond my greatest expectations. Actually, when I titled this Haiku, I felt like I was being a bit of a plagiarist, but since my words came before the title, I thought that I could have that levity for those two words so exemplified that which I wanted to express. Ā Thank you for honoring me with such a beautiful review.
IĀ must be ignorant, uneducated or both.Ā I don't understand haikus, but I understand your message of pure love. I guess a long winded poetic scheme could not convey such raw feelings. Continue on with what works for you. GOOD WORK
A Haiku, which is Japanese in origin, is three lines, the first, five syllables, the second, seven syllables, and the last, again five syllables, which add up to seventeen. Ā It is a form of simplicity, where one tries to convey as much meaning as they can, using just those seventeen syllables. Ā I am so glad you enjoyed my Haiku.
