Immortal Splendor

My welkin love, a mortal star, a trophy fair, a light ajar.
And fable born, a chiseled frame, a brilliant mind, a spirit
Brain. My welkin love, a sacred flare, the brooch of Christ,
A mystic glare. And opus heart, a symbol live, a fleet of
Flames, a tear alive. My welkin love, a beauty sore, a vine
Above, the blood of war. For heaven soul, the lust of kings,
A cultured grace, an angel’s dream. But deep within, a
Silent shame, the flog of heart, the grog of pain.

My welkin love, a mortal star, a trophy fair, a light ajar.
And nimbus soul, a goddess arm, a lightenin’ volt, a
Biblic charm. My welkin love, a surge of waves, a modest
Poise, a rose aflame. And passion born, a portrait fate,
A legend gold, a floral grace. But deep within, a silent
Shame, the flog of heart, the grog of pain.
