Impossible Situations

Impossible Situations

You've had them, so how did you manage to cope,
when all seemed lost and there looked like no hope?
Some choose suicide, drowning in bath best they say,
my choice was different - I just opted to run away.

So where are you going - do you think you can escape?
you think you can start a life perhaps in fairest cape;
it didn't work, you were hauled back by your ears,
you didn't wriggle out like Houdini, to confirm your fears.

If I could pull back time, you'd still be a friend of mine,
but I can't, what's done is done, oh well it's not fine;
you wonder where you'll end up, time to grow up they say,
otherwise someone may urinate over you in a doorway.

He escaped from the chains and swam to the surface,
it was over, crap swept aside, now get back in the race.
