In Darkness There is Light.

You can search far & wide,
& yet never find that piece of mind.
A maze of words,
& noisy thoughts,
The lies you are told,
Remain unknown.
As they cover them in gold dust,
Are you addicted to inflicting,
Your own inner pain,
Disguised as lust.
Can you see the stains,
Left by your silent games.
The blame was always mine,
To a man that remained blind,
Should the blindfold come off,
To reveal the beauty of the divine inside.
The soul that I fell in love with,
The moment I looked into your eyes,
Or was that a smokescreen to bleed me dry,
To sell everything my soul owned,
To the next women in line.
The biggest cruelty of man,
Is to steal the wings of an angel,
Who felt the fairest in the land,
Floating along romantic promises & future plans.
No remorse or empathy,
For taking her spiritual virginity.
A smile to hide,
The destruction he left behind.
This antithesis of black never had her back.
Told your negative,
But weren't you the one,
Who left me high & dry,
Who didn't care if I cried all night.
But when said & done,
I can smile with delight,
Because my unconditional love,
Never lost it's light.
The strength of a warrior,
The beauty of a goddess,
My philosophical outlook means forgiveness is never a weakness.
As my feline powers,
Is too precious to be handled,
By one so careless.
Who is yet to understand,
The virtues of the gifts,
Granted by our ancestors.
The nurturing talents,
Pearl's of wisdom,
Sent for them to discover all that is within them.
Not as a curse,
But infinite love,
The very essence of oneness & divine love.
So in darkness there is light. Because from the pain there is the flame that will always burn bright.
As sure as the moon shines at night....
