IN MEMORIUM
Cody Ran February 27, 2003-August 5, 2017

Our precious Angel Cody lost his long battle yesterday. At around nine a.m. E.S.T., he took his last breath, and his soul floated to Heaven to be with his big Brother Nico.
.
To all our dear friends, we thank you for your loving support! We will be off Cosmo for a week, mourning our devastating loss, and of all things, having to move on Thursday.
.
We leave you with this poem and Haiku dedicated to our dearly departed Soulmate Cody.

Our Prayer
Inspired by Missa Johnouchi’s beautiful song, “Prayer”, written in the same year our dear Cody was born, 2003
.
Our dear precious Angel Cody, yesterday we had to say goodbye;
As you fell asleep forever, then off to Heaven did you fly!
You fought so very bravely, and gave us extra weeks;
But then you started failing, and compassion we had seek!
.
For fifteen minutes we held you, with tears and wracking sobs;
Asking why did this have to happen, our Blessed Little Boy from us robbed!
Then they took you back to put a catheter, in your skinny little leg;
They brought you back, we said “not yet”, give us ten more minutes we begged!
.
But then it was time to let you go, and as the world could hear our cries;
Your Doctor ended all your pain, as we watched you close your eyes!
We stayed with you for a long, long time, our Soulmate gone away;
We closed “our” eyes and prayed to God, “Please take our Angel on this day”!
.
From one ounce of breath
Somehow came a pound of life
Then you took your last

LARRY LINDA this poem and has made me CRY realy CRY I have know CODY for over year now and I watch him for last 3 mouths the pain he was in it was hard to see I I CRYED this morning reading this poem and listening to the video you say your not going to be on cosmo for week bec of moveing will please stay away from star buck for week I dodnt meen to be mean but if I saw you today I would just CRY in your arms no other dog in my life time have felt this way wow I cryed so hard earlier I sceamed out why must I be alone I know now I couldn't have pet all my blessing to you both love greg

It is so hard now to find the proper words, because our hearts and souls are devastated. thank you Linda and Larry yesterday was hard day after reading your poem I cryed then I went down town sitting thay played on the radio my fathers fav song so I cryed agin right there then I went home and mowed the lawn and look up in the window and felt my dad was watching me like he use to do in the old days

We are sure your dear Father is watching over you, just like we know that our Beloved Cody is now up in Heaven with his brother Nico, and they are both watching over us. You, Linda and I, are very fortunate to have these beautiful Guardian Angels.

Dear Larry and Linda,
We are so very sorry to read this sad news. Cody was as much a member of Cosmofunnel as any of us; and more influential on its content than most. It must be inarguable that his image appeared on the Home Page more than any other...he inspired some of your most heartfelt and touching works; and there can be little doubt that he and Nico will continue to do so now.
As for words of comfort in your time of pain and loss; the only thoughts we can offer are the most obvious...Cody's suffering is over. While that must be comforting...the aching wound left by his absence will torment you both. When it does...remember that you are both loved, respected and cherished by your family here...we await your return home to us...

Our Dear Lorna and Jason,
As we read your beautiful words, the tears fall from our hearts and souls. To hear such heartfelt compassion in honor of our Beloved little boy, is such a Blessing. To know that he touched so many lives brings us tremendous comfort, in these hours of darkness. His pain has now ended, but life without him is excruciating. We hear sounds in our bedroom, and feel his spirit is still with us.
How do you thank someone for the love you have shown to us? We can only say, that you are two of the most treasured people in our lives.

Dearest Larry, I didn't know Cody but I do know that our pets have a very special place in our hearts that no one can fill. The love and the joy they give us is boundless and having lost a much loved pet myself I know the pain you are in. Take the time out to remember Cody with a smile and picture him crossing that wonderful Rainbow bridge - fit, well, happy and painfree and carrying the love I know he will have felt for you both through with him to a happy place.
