In My Head

outside its so peaceful
everyone's in thier beds asleep

I'm in mine
but more in my head 

hoping the night can stay 
it'll give me joyful

to never see another day light 
cause everything I love is at night

but all I get is a peep
my eyes won't even count sheep 

outside is so dark
I just wanna run a far

maybe get to go to London
not there maybe on a ranch

just a running having fun

but now its late
this wondering mind is a gaze

that's far enough in my head 
as I'm just laying in my bed

hoping my mind will start a blaze
but just laying near my mate

wondering mind please
please just sleep 

maybe this time count the sheep
it might put me at ease

As I'm laying awake at night 
my own mind gives me a fright
