I love to just read poetry.
It soothes my soul and pleases me.
I read a poem just today
that said the words IĀ long to say..
My favourite poet, Wendy Cope
I read her stuff,
It gives me hope,
That maybe one day I can be
as widely read by folks as she.

Amen to that LODIGIANA!!.....I really enjoyed the perfect tempo of this ......a true limerick always has that catchy song-like quality you've captured here!!.....I Love to read poetry as well.... being a songwriter it helps a lot... plus....I too find it relaxing and inspirational...... Hi Tony I couldn't believe reading your comments that you are reading Pablo Neruda!!!..I have this morning just read 'If you forget me' I think it's so beautifully balanced and such a pleasing read, that is inspiring in its relative simpleness...I would love more time to just read and read but time seems to eat itself up during the day....Thank you for taking the time to read and comment- how do you do it ?? with all the irons you have in your fire you Ā not only read and comment Ā but you also write the most beautiful inks ever!!!...Thank you my Friend! xx

Hope you read this message Lodigiana and just recently discovered after a long time and now reading Wendy Cope. Starting with her Serious Concerns and then moved on toĀ Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis and her words/poems are both witty and so original and well worth rereading.
One could be reading you in many places.
