In the blink of my eye❤️

Did you have a little dimple in the middle of your chin ?
Now come to think of it yes you did it added cuteness to your grin
Were your eyes brown, no that’s wrong they were blue
They shone like cloudless skies when I looked at you
I can recall you always on a diet even tho you were slim
Constantly working out & pumping in the gym

When I think about your face you always wore a smile
Always looked on the bright side
That was just your style
I adored the way you dressed always in sloppy tops & jeans
Never wanting to impress, 
Tho it suited you by all means
I always loved your golden hair
You let it grow below your waist
All those fancy hairstyles you did
Wow you had such a good taste

We were always together like two peas in a pod
But now with you gone
life is dull & very odd
I shall never understand why you had to go
I didn’t get any warning
Oh how I loved you so
One minute you were there & the next you were gone
I thought you would be immortal 
Someone I could rely upon

But alas, I was wrong coz in the blink of my eye
You collapsed in my arms with no time for a goodbye
I am left feeling angry & very confused
There really is no text book to stop my mind being bemused
I am left all alone with only photographs of you
How can I carry on, 
What am I going to do?

Can you do me a favour
If your looking down on me now
Would it be too much to ask
Send a little signal somehow
Just to let me believe that you are okay
In the heavens up above,
An afterlife away
Perhaps make a double rainbow right across the sky
Or maybes an image of you in the clouds passing by
It doesn’t matter if thats not possible, it may be abit extreme
So will you come & visit me each night as I dream❤️
