In the Box

In the box is where I will be
Looking for a way out that only I can see
Throughout the day curing the itch
Always going back to that box in the ditch
Elements and struggles cause us to flee
From one box to another
Wishing to be free
The society around us tell what we will become
Throwing away the boxes we use as homes
The boxes we live in inside and out
Can never define a man
Or what he is about
The boxes we see that are used as homes 
Is a cry for help
Not to be left alone.
