In The Library

A  place that still resists
The noise of modern life
An island of mainly quiet
In the busy high street .
I don't know how many times I have visited
I never bore of going to the library .

You can keep your Ebooks
You can keep your tablets
I still like those paper pages
The seduction of a dust cover
It may not be cutting edge to say
I never bore of going to the library .

I am definitely old school when it comes to books. I love them. The weight they have, all the chapters that physically sit in the palm of your hands. You can’t get the same feel digitally. Nicely done Chris
