Never A Good Time
When can it be saidÂ
Without too much fall out or heartbreakÂ
When can it be saidÂ
Without sending too many ripples across the lake ...
Her birthday is soonÂ
Better to wait till afterÂ
Bite the bullet and buy her something niceÂ
Maybe keep the receipt , but don't tell her .
Looking at the calendarÂ
Too many invites , expected to attend as a couple too
Inescapable conclusion , there's no time that's good
The real question is , when does one take the bull by the hornsÂ
And say this time . It's definitely all over .
