Seesaw

Seesaw

I tried to balance in the middle
I tried to be neutral
But as the plank rose and bowed
I was pulled into this camp and that
Like a drunken sailor I swayed
There were things I didn't want to say
People no wish to alienate
Or lose good friends
There could only be  unhappy end

- and I wanted no part of it .
