In The Shadows....

Told to reflect,
This is my answer to you.
Do you look at your reflection,
As my words of pain,
fall on deaf ears.
Does it penetrate your heart,
Like the sun in your eyes,
Does it make your subconscious connect to mine,
Will your shadow come into the light.
A cloak of silence,
Your gift to me,
An empaths worst enemy.
But you knew that,
Because I told you not so long ago.
When the plan of potential oneness of King & Queen,
Was to be the start of our history,
Of love & passion discovery.
Kindness & honesty,
Too much for many men to bare,
From a heart of gold,
Transparent & bold.
Did you not laugh at my jokes?,
Brighten your day?,
Was I not there for you,
When you needed me on your darkest days?.
But in the shadows,
My hope & faith never fades,
Because this isn't my first lifetime.
Our ancestors brought us together,
They lit a special flame,
I nurtured that love like Isis,
The goddess that I became,
But true spiritual love ain't for everyone who wish to remain the same,
Because there is no growth,
Holding onto past pain.
So I'll be waiting in the shadows,
Because my name will forever be,
A beautiful stain in your memories.....
