Inconsequential Gulls

politicians kill more people than nicotine, alcohol, drugs & (please feel free to add to this list)

Inconsequential Gulls

Just listen to all those inconsequential gulls
not a single one has much to say
But nevertheless, each one of them is spewing
misconceptions and half truths
down the necks of unsuspecting fledglings
Those not necessarily hungry
but incessantly mewing and craving attention

Good Morning Neville :)
I really love this one. I could hear the squawks! It certainly is all breeding corruption, layers and layers of it. I think the government are incompetent and foolish. There are kids who could make better decisions. I am so sick of the U.K. and this government. They seem intent on destroying the country and the people. I am sure there are many things to add to the list my friend. But it would end up with me ranting a lot lol 😂 and I waffle enough on here for poor people to endure

Great poem my friend

Lol could be fun. I use to want to find my own bit of land and become self sufficient. Cut myself off from the world. But that won’t save the planet as a whole. It’s a global issue. Hope you are well my friend x

Oh well said Neville and I like so many on this island hear you loud and clear.
For I would back your corner any day and also my late father too.
For it's all about principles and standing up to fight for what is fair and right.
So many in power have lost meaning and sight of.
A small poem but with a voice delivering it's mighty metaphor.
Thanks for sharing and it's good to know that the wool can't be pulled over your eyes, to see things for what they really are and who's really who and what they REALLY stand for.

Being Me

Gulls! Hahaha... I have heard and seen them during prime ministers question time and yes how they go on! And on, and on and on and on and on and on... mine, mine, mine  mine  mine to quote the gulls in Finding Nemo. They talk a load of twaddle and they steal things ( from the poor).

Love the poem x
