Poem -

Inevitable War

It's a cold summer in the woods
the gregarious chant of the birds
and the swarm of playful ants
brought a cheerful memory of our lovely lover
who had drop out of our sight
through inevitable vicious attack
as war become our permanent nature.

War with all its concomitant suffering
which brought unenviable lives,
tears of anguish fill our eyes as we wept bitterly,
suckling babies were cried for their perished mothers,
old men wept for their departed love ones.

The blagger leaders are here again with their hollow promise
which will never mend our stricken heart
gold and silver was a perfect promise
but will it supersede our lost ones?
we were left with our severe pain
moving ahead serves as best option as we wiped out our sorrow.

When will that great day be?
when war will become an outdated word
and agony of war brutality will departed humans race
it become a bleak hope
as war become our necessary evil.
