Inner Demons

His tears were that equivalent to torrential rain.
No matter how hard he fought,
Inner demons never stop the continuous pain.
His cries were as loud as hammering thunder.
No matter how fast he ran,
Inner demons would eventually pull him under.
 
He clenched his teeth and balled his fists
He strained his neck and slit his wrists.
Inner demons ran,
Inner demons hid.
Inner demons did anything,
To make his life be rid.
 
Time eventually went passed,
The healing did its bit.
The clock continued ticking fast
And the fires eventually lit.
Inner demons hunt,
And inner demons kill.
Inner demons targeted him,
To show him that they are real.
 
He bashed his head
Against doors.
He rolled around
On the floors.
He said,
Inner demons out,
Inner demons go.
You wanna take control over me?
My answer will always be no.
 
Inner demons ran,
Inner demons hid.
Inner demons did anything,
To to turn his life adrift.
