Poem -

Inside.

This lockdown is giving me the honky tonk blues.
I can’t get out to show of my blue suede shoes.
Yes lockdown is getting me down.
I can’t get out to party in town.
Long days and longer nights.
They are taking away my civil rights.
Sadness engulfs my lockdown soul.
It feels shattered it does not feel whole.
But i must stay strong.
This lockdown is going on for far to long.
But someday outside I’ll go.
And my blue suede shoes everybody I’ll show.
