Fly Away.

She said i she would never leave.
I said you i do soulfully believe.
But she went against her so called honest word.
And from our nest flew off like a hungry bird.
To me no words she did say.
Just left on that cold rainy day.
I tell thee she broke my loving heart.
Every new day i find hard to start.
My green eyes do always cry.
All day in bed i sadly lie.
I will never again be the same.
But her i find hard to blame.
I have lost the love of earthly life.
Because i know she will never be my earthly wife.
To you all i say a last goodbye.
Soon to a better place my soul will calmly and peacefully fly.
