Insomnia of The Heart
My sleep is light as air.
No sound awakens me.
Few noises exist
in this quiet room.
The disturbances Â
come from inside my heart.
It has a long memory
It forgets nothing.
It is the noises
of memories
waking and stirring.
That wish no rest
from sleep
