Into the Darkness

ashamed I followed you
but you
you lifted me
when I was drowning above water
you turned me around
when I was in an enchantment forest
you kissed me
and I wanted to stay
without boundaries from you
are we close
are we tight
are we tangled
in a web of disgrace
do I have to let go of you
even if we have to go through
why is it so dark here
can you answer that
PLEASE
I want to be safe
ashamed of where we went
just to get here
do I lead or follow you
into the DARKNESS
of LOVE
do have to let go
I don't want this test
trying to find you in the darkness
who said we have to stop..........Together?

Thank you and merry Christmas too you to
Your work is the urban equivalent of folk poetry; raw, bitter and really quite powerful.
I have one question about this piece: are the glancing references to recent Disney movies deliberate? Because, if they are, they're BRILLIANT!! Pointed, subtle and pregnant with veiled accusation.
Very powerful work...well done!

Thank you and yes it is about a disney story but the real version not the kid versionΒ
Excellent! (Though it's the kid versions that always scared the hell out of me!!!)
Welcome to Cosmo.
