Poem -

Invisible Thinking

Invisible Thinking

My
heart
palpitates
with
extremity,
Taking
my
breath
away,
I
feel
weak
And
dizzy,
unable
to
see,
crippling
Thoughts,
ideas,
invisible
thinking
affecting
my
physical
being.
Where do thoughts come from?
Outside/Inside,
Heart or Mind
Obsessive
arguments
that
manifest
violent
scenes,
truth or lie
Like
smoke
they
wonder
around
my
body,
squeezing
my
organs,
grinding
my
teeth,
punching
my
jaw,
until
I
am
numb,
pulling
me
towards
the
Event Horizon,
A
black
hole
that
takes
hold.
THOUGHTS,
THEY
WEIGH
NOTHING,
BUT
WEIGH
HEAVY
UPON
MY
soul.

This reminds me of an anxiety attack. Or when I lay down to sleep but my mind is racing and sleep is illusive. Well written. A power packed piece Gerard. Blessings.

Sleep us definitely broken these days, from constant thoughts to ghosts that haunt, I'm at an age of discovery, 36, an age I'm told is of great significance to my evolution. With it comes unwanted knowledge, I did ask the gods for knowledge but it's like I got a massive download and I have to fish through the soil to find the gold.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi Gerard...The mind is a powerful thing!  We become what our thoughts tell us we are...They can affect our health...and our emotional stability.  I know I have had panic attacks and wondered what brought me on to that level of stress...How do our thoughts dictate to that result?  It baffles me.  Your poem felt like that kind of poisonous game.  Great write. xo :)

Spot on with your diagnosis Cherie, I do feel like an open book but that book lies at the bottom of a deep dark cave, you can see it.

Thank you.

It rises and falls like the sun, I do believe that daylight makes it worse, like I cant block out the wave of contaminante thoughts that explode from the humans as they wake with the morning star.

Thank you. X
