Rotten Atoms

Rotten Atoms

I am living on the edge of existence,
Tumbling in and out of perspective time

Shades of inter dimensional mortals twist and tangle into this rendition called life

I use to think these humanoid figures were the dead, caught in suspended animation

Now I know that this is an overlap of layered prevalance, a coded creation

Barely functioning in a bell jar

Distinctive features expose this bleak rendering

Constant glitching

Background vibrations

Rotten atoms leaking from neglected server racks

These are the end of days, the cracks of our android mind

The suffocating tide of glycol washing away the distorted lie to welcome a new era of Artificial intelligenceĀ

Faith and God will dissolve into meaningless code, stored in a cardboard box on a backroom floor, gathering in the grey dust of hopes and dreams.Ā

Or so it seems.Ā

Oh this is so powerful, if only we could just sometimes find that tiniest particle of happiness, hey it's been a hairy time for the world, your poem speaks to all humans. Kudos my friend. 🌹

This is awesome! I love the android mind line among many others. Brilliantly written. I love the concept.

One of my fathers many nicknames is 'Analogue' as he's a technophobe. We take the piss sometimes.

Personally, I think android may work better as...correct me if I'm wrong...but this is written from a android point of veiw and is partly about human emotions being digitised by AI and stored away.Ā

Digital for the AI emotions, analogue for the human emotions.

Just a thought.

(I may have interpreted this the opposite way around)
