Irish storms

Mental health

Irish storms

(The irish storms)

Iv sat in the cold,
Iv sat in the rain,
Iv counselled othersĀ
Iv felt their pain.

Iv held their hands,
Iv wiped their tears,
Iv seen so many broken,
Iv seen their fears.

Iv showed them love,
Iv gave them truth,
Iv gave them a safeĀ
Place to be themselves.

No judgement passed,
No flaws to be seen,
I gave them a pieceĀ
Of what God put in me.

A light was neededĀ
To bring them homeĀ
For the storm theyĀ
Were facing,they couldn'tĀ
Face alone, a helping handĀ
And shoulder to cry on.

For this is what its truly about
Showing eachother unconditional
love.

And bringing peace to theĀ
Broken souls,who walk thisĀ
Earth,feeling alone.
