Irish Sunset

Irish Sunset

The sun sinking with the darkest shadow of dayย
Concentrating on the celtic beauty in the western sky.ย
The dying memories of the dayย
In myriad shades of crimson shy.ย
Before the darkness peer and the rising of the moonย
The glorious amber of the burning sky,ย
Luck of the Irish, cry of the loon,ย
The spring's clover by and byย
As St Paddy views to deploreย
The ending of the spectacle nevermore.ย
One who mastered his life's late Decemberย
In peaceful serenity and moments to remember.ย
The ending of the day and its magical surpriseย
Glowing deep into our Saint's mind and eyes,ย
Burst the sun's prominent storyย
And sets the western sky in luminous glory.ย
