Is magic a myth ?

In a mystical magic puff she totally disappeared
As the onlookers applauded and the children cheered
His audience were astounded with the “Ooohs” and the “”Ahhs”
With a flick of his wrist a wand made lots of twinkly stars
Only seconds earlier his sidekick was inside an open cage
Smiling like a chesire cat under a spotlight on the stage
She didn’t seem a trifle nervous yet she had done this before
But everybody watching wondered where on earth did she go ?
‘The Awesome Almera’ with his wonderful wife Adelle
His sorcery skills were captivating they had you under his spell
He filled each and every town hall right across the land to sit bewitched and hypnotized by his words of command
His grand finale was absolutely amazing
A sudden starburst of explosion so curiously curtain raising
From out of the total clear thin air his pretty petite assistant reappears there
Is magic a myth or simply just an illusion ?
As one is left in a state of bewilderment and baffled confusion

Hi Jillian,
Magic is not a myth, as you create wonderful, mystical creations using simple words which both dazzle and astonish us with their beauty.
Love your ever-writing mind.
Matthew.
Awww Thanks my poetical friend ❤️?❤️
You're always welcome, Jillian!
You're great. I'm thinking of publishing a poem about some sub-terranean people who decide to no longer live underground, but to move to suburb in Transylvania. However, upon arrival, they are shocked by the number of vampires they encounter, and are a little squeamish at the site of blood, so they decide to sell their new residency, but cannot find a buyer. They end up losing $6,000 on their investment, and upon returning to the underground, are cast out as traitors, and decide to become druids, however, there are no trees in their new community, so they open up a fully clothed, nude beach in Muncie.
I think it's one of my better ones. It's called What? No Wood? It's allegorical for the housing crisis in Peru.
What do you think? Is it a winner?
Thanks,
M.
Haha yours would always be a winner lad you
have such a beautiful way with words ❤️?❤️
Thanks!
I've found that by using words, I don't need to wave signs with verbage upon them. It saves a lot of money on canvas costs. Sometimes, when I can't find the words, I use mimery, but that's not as effective on here.
You have a gorgeous gift for wordage, also.
Hugs,
Matthew.
