Poem -

isolated hope

In silence I ponder the emptiness of the room.
The room continues to slowly close in upon me.
I speak my mind only to find that no one is there to hear my words.
The brick walls around me are painted with hate and regret.
I wish this setting was happy, but I regress it is not.
People have begun to change, from clusters of stars, to their own worst fears.
They fear love, loss, and time.
As if expecting those three things would be a crime.
This room is an image of everyone's internal isolation, I continually attempt to escape it.
