It Began

It began with a passing glance,
When my heart began to dance,
Soon to be lost in conversation,
The adrenalin rush,

A passing phase,
A gesture of the hand,
Saying things,
We didn’t quite understand,

Too hard to follow,
Too quick to fall,
I remember the passing glance,
I remember it all.
