Poem -

Is it dead?

We try to revive it,
Try to survive it,
Have each other's backs,
Glossing over the cracks.

But your coming,
I'm going,
You're in,
And im out.
You talk in a whisper,
I can't help but shout.

Tell me the truth,
Tell me straight,
I know it's not hate,
Is indifference our fate?

When I stay up late,
And you're sleeping in bed,
I have this ache in my gut,
This overwhelming dread.

So tell me please,
Is our love dead?
