Is It Worth It?

Is It Worth It?

You wonder to yourself what you might get out of winning,
You start to slow down to think of the results,
You think of thoughts that get you grinning,
You begin to wonder who’s got the most faults,
Your success thinks your sinning,
You yourself think you’re tired of the insults,
Your head can’t handle all the spinning,
You plunge at the site of the adults.

You try so hard to work it,
But when you reach a certain area you want to quit,
You believe that you are designated to split,
You become hurting when other people spit,
You are so exhausted of not being able to fit,
But when you get there you can never slit,
Because your wrest is your own benefit,
And doing that is something that you can never commit,
And so you replace your damaged tool kit,
So that you can never think to sit.

You never start to wonder ever again,
Because you never want to become worthless,
You force yourself out of that lane,
You get rid of that feeling that’s mirthless,
You break your chain, through that cane, gain no pain, have reign.
