It's Never Going To Be

It's Never Going To Be

My messages she says no longer makes sense
That I'm different

Even my poetry is different

I forgot a lot of stuff

She took it personal

Stuff about her that I would never forget

Stuff about me that I would never forget

Like her favorite ice cream that made her pretty sad that I didn't remember that

I cuss more now she says

She notices every detail

In every way that I've changed

It makes me hate myself

Like there's nothing left

Of all the things she used to love about me

Usually she's happy to see me

She doesn't want to now

She's waiting

And I've already figured it out

Everything's changed

It'll never be the same again

She's on her way out

And she doesn't even realize it
